THE JOB

• Design and build modern web applications and micro-services
• Maintain complex web applications through refactoring and optimization
• Find and deliver the right solution for the clients’ problems
• Perform code reviews and share knowledge with the team
• Take care of releases and monitor production health

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 5 years of Python web development experience
• Profound knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with agile development
• Great communication skills and commitment to the team
• Fluent in English

Bonus points

• Experience with large code bases and high-availability web platforms
• Experience with full-text search (Solr, Elastic Search)
• Knowledge of modern front-end development practices
• Proficiency in Jira
• Fluent in German
